Alright here it is, if you haven’t guessed by the title above my goal for the year is to complete 10,000 squats. The real question you might be asking yourself is why on earth would I want to do this?
The short answer is obvious: doesn’t everyone want a fabulous ass? The long answer is more complicated. Over the course of the last several years I have had some pretty significant struggles with my health. I suffer from severe migraines and PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). This situation has caused me to have a pretty rough time maintaining my weight as well as my overall health. I’ve seen many doctors, most of whom just want to pump you full of pain meds and various drugs. I do not want to live my life under constant medication. Thus, I turned towards a personal trainer to help me get off the couch and turn my health around!
The journey officially started on July 22, 2013 and will continue for a full year. I will be working out with my trainer 3x a week every week for a full year, working towards my goal of 10,000 squats. Obviously, we will be doing other exercises as well…
My side goal is to motivate someone else out there who may also be seeking a more natural approach to health! I will be experimenting also with my diet and sharing healthy recipes that I deem delicious.. aka no tofu or food I can’t pronounce or heaven forbid that cleanse with the maple syrup and cayenne pepper…I’m talking about legitimate food that tastes good and fills you up.
